Deadlines.

The only thing worse than working on a tight deadline... is working without one.

I've been needing to finish a short script for a while now, but I keep playing delaying tactics. I'm at a point in the script where I have notes on what should go in each panel, and a rough idea of what has to be said, or narrated, in this case. If I don't wrap it up shortly after that, the actual scripting will feel like a drag, because there's no real surprises left. That's where the deadlines come in--if I had had one, this script would have been finished by now.

Right now, I'm at a point where I'm doing laundry and looking around and thinking that I should vaccuum the room.

So I'm putting this out in a public forum* as a challenge to myself: At least two of those last three pages will be scripted today, and the last one tomorrow.

*) No, it is not a requisite for being a public forum that people will read/hear the messages. Just that they can, so this blog counts.
